About
InfiniteMIT is an unprecedented archive of Institute history: MIT people—their work and their lives—are captured in the lectures, conversations, events, and encounters you’ll find in this site. Its genesis was the Infinite History Project, conducted as part of the MIT150 sesquicentennial celebration, work that expanded later to include de-archiving source material to reveal and reintroduce MIT icons. Today, InfiniteMIT aims to provide access to this body of content while adding to the library on an ongoing basis.Acknowledgements
This project and website are made possible by the generosity of Jane and A. Neil Pappalardo ’64. The project draws upon the Pappalardo Digital Archive, a collection of analog assets that have been digitized and preserved beginning in 2010, with that work continuing today.
